A current resident of Rochester, NY, Liz Kowaluk photographs in the surrounding community. A former native of Brighton, New York (a suburb of Rochester), she apprenticed at her father's photography studio specializing in social celebrations.
Her interest in the printing sciences was realized in a formal program at the Rochester Institute of Technology. During her stay at the university, her talents were recognized by various departments, including photography, and utilized in various publications.
While circumnavigating the globe under the school's auspices, she developed an additional skill in travel photography. After living in Maryland for 12 years, she moved back home to Rochester where she is currently a Project Coordinator for a packaging company.
